Being a student at one of
the most exciting Universities in the country means plenty to do
and plenty to decide. How do students decide when to study and when
to party? How do students stay safe and make safe decisions? The
Partnership for Alcohol Responsibility was created to make sure you,
as a student, have a safe, healthy and most importantly, rewarding
experience at Florida State University. Visit the pages listed at
the left to find out what there is to do around town and how to plan
a safe and responsible party. Don’t forget to use the Marquee to
promote a (safe and healthy!) event that your organization is hosting.
Student Resources
There are many resources on campus that can help
you make the most of your experience at FSU both academically or
socially. If you should
find that you, or a friend, are having problems or just not feeling
as good as usual, the staff at Thagard Student Health Center, as
well as the University Counseling Center, is always available to
help. See
below for numbers to contact for assistance regarding health, mental
health, alcohol or drug problems or academic problems. Additionally,
the links to the left can give you more information on FSU Alcohol
Policies and on how to refer a troubled student.
In An Emergency |
- Stay calm. Ask someone to assist you.
- Call the FSU Police: 850/644-1234 or 311 (911 off campus)
- Stay with the student.
- Provide information when help arrives.
