SUNN (Students for Understanding Nutrition Now) Team Exercise Program

We are an extension of SUNN comprised of SUNN members and FSU student participants. Our group was originally started to help students incorporate healthy eating habits and daily exercise to help them work towards leading a healthier lifestyle. We realize that many students across campus may feel self-conscious, shy, or lack motivation to go to the gym alone.

We work together on a consistent basis to help encourage, support, and motivate STEP members to develop healthier lifestyle habits. SUNN members are thought of as big brothers/sisters by offering sound nutrition and exercise information and coordinating exercise “pow wow” sessions in groups or in pairs. It is the perfect place for future professionals in the health and fitness industry to build their knowledge and skills.

Join STEP online at www.facebook.com and www.myspace.com/step_program. If you have any questions or would like more information about STEP contact Joakima Carter (STEP Coordinator) at jac1448@comcast.net. Visit http://www.tshc.fsu.edu/he/nutrition/SUNN.htm or Nutrition Services (4th floor of Thagard Student Health Center) to become a member of SUNN.
