STRIKE (Student Reform Initiative: Knowledge for Eternity) STRIKE is a state-wide program funded by the Florida Department of Health., Division of Health Awareness and Tobacco. Its members—both tobacco users and those who choose not to use tobacco products—work with others to develop interesting, student-led focused initiatives to promote tobacco awareness, and policy change through educational and entertaining activities. STRIKE members participate in large national events such as the Great American Smokeout, Kick Butts Day as well as other events, to raise awareness. Also, with the assistance of university administration, STRIKE successfully implemented a ban on the sale of tobacco products on the campus of FSU.
