To take advantage
of TSHC services, including free office visits for illness or
injury, students must be currently enrolled at FSU. Recent graduates
are eligible to use TSHC services on a fee-for-service basis
up to six months after they graduate. Please note, students in
town but not taking classes (for instance during the summer),
will be charged for visits to TSHC. Again, students must be enrolled
in classes for illness or injury office visits to be free of
charge.
The student
health fee (paid along with tuition) covers visits for illness
or injury. Special procedures, laboratory tests, x-rays, physical
exams, gynecological exams, prescription medications, or medical
supplies that are recommended by the clinician during course
of treatment are not covered by this health fee. Our pharmacy
accepts more that 100 different prescription plans as payment
for medication.
Before patients leave TSHC, they should check out at the cashier’s
office on the first floor. TSHC accepts the following as payment
for services: cash, check, Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American
Express, FSU Card, university-sponsored insurance, deferment
to student financial
account.*
*Health fees posted on student financial accounts must be paid
at Student Financial Services in the University Center, not at
TSHC.
