STI Testing

TSHC offers confidential sexually transmitted infection (STI) testing for both men and women. Female patients should call the Women’s Clinic at 644-5255 or 644-4567 to make an appointment. Testing for male patients is available at the Gold Clinic. Call 644-8463 or 644-4567 for an appointment.

HIV Clinic

The TSHC HIV Clinic provides HIV testing and information on preventing HIV. Thagard offers three forms of testing. OraQuick Advance is a rapid HIV test that uses oral fluids, takes 20 to 40 minutes to show test results, and costs $45. The HIV blood test is an HIV test that uses blood, takes 2 to 3 days for results, and costs $25. FREE testing is offered through our community-based partner (Big Bend Cares). These tests take 2 weeks to get results and are only available by appointment.
